Women’s Aid

National charity linked in with the NHS working to end domestic abuse against women and children that partners with Refuge.

Refuge

A specialist service that includes refuges, independent advocacy, community outreach projects, culturally specific services and the 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline.

Solace 

Prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors particularly women and girls.

Galop (LGBT) 

Hate crime, sexual violence or domestic abuse also supports lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system. With young people 16-25 + has a dedicated Trans Advocacy & Community Development Service which can offer confidential advice and support by telephone, email or face-to-face.

Women and Girls Network 

Established in 1987 to support women and girls affected by all forms of gendered violence including childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), rape/gang rape, honour based violence and war crimes. WGN became a free, comprehensive integrated service providing a holistic response to women who had experienced any form of gendered violence.

LAWRS – (Latin American Women’s Rights Service) 

A feminist and human rights organisation focused on addressing the practical and strategic needs of Latin American migrants women displaced by poverty and violence. 

Ashiana Network

Service that provides specialist advice, advocacy and counselling to women and girls who are experiencing all forms of VAWG including harmful practice such as forced marriage, honour-based violence and FGM.

London Black Women’s Project 

A women-only black feminist organisation to serve the needs of black minority ethnic and refugee women. Working towards towards the eradication of gender violence from the perspective of intersectionality.

FORWARD 

An African Women led organisation working towards ending violence against women and FGM.

Survivors UK

Supports male, trans and non-binary victims of sexual abuse as well as their friends and family.
